Are expats tempted by Istanbul's fast-growing economy?


People considering expatriating could be tempted by the fast-growing economy in Turkey, powered largely by Istanbul.

According to the developers of the Elite Parla Palace, the economy has averaged GDP growth of 7.5 per cent a year over the past five years.

Employment opportunities are certainly one of the things to consider when relocating abroad and Istanbul's new Teknopark could deliver in this area.

The science and technology park, currently under development, is to be one of the most prestigious of its kind in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

It is hoped that this will make the region more attractive to investors.
